Description
This watercolor of an antique gold scale which was in the window of the assey office in the ghost town of Bodie in the California Sierra Nevedas. I work on d'Arches watercolor blocks and the block itself is a 1/2 think cardboard with a glossy white finish to it. I had run out of paper and did this painting on the actual board.
