Description
This painting was done on location in the Sierra Nevadas around April or May 1987, when the snow drifts had almost melted away and the passes were opened up. This was the time I usually planned my trips to cut through the mountains and drive down to the desert on my favorite highway 395. I sold this painting online a few years ago, but you can buy prints of it here.
