Mysterious looking subject. Stephen King sort of feeling. From such a "loser" kind of subject you certainly can tell a story. The composition, the strokes of color all say........"Hmmmm, what's the story here?" Don, you make art so much more than just a pretty picture or a nice scene beautifully rendered. Your work involves the viewer immediately, leaving an emotional impression. That, to me is true art - plein air, studio, class, whatever.....if it involves and leaves an emotional imprint it's ART.
